Metropolitian College of New York (MCNY)

In partnership with Leadership and Public Service High School and Trinity Church Wall Street (TCWS), Metropolitan College of New YorkMCNY provides classes courses for college credit in public administration for current 9th to 11th graders. This is a great way for students to prepare for college and build the knowledge and skills necessary for jobs in non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. This program is part of ongoing work with TCWS to support provide students with academic and social support and reflects opportunities that incoming students can access in their time at Leadership.

Students have taken such courses as:

  • Public Speaking and the Art of Persuasion

  • Self-Assessment and Preparation for Public Service

  • Computer Applications for Profit and Non-Profit Management

  • American Government
